Boseong-gun Selected as an Excellent Local Government in the Basic Livelihood Security Sector
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Jeonnam Boseong-gun (Governor Kim Cheol-woo) announced on the 24th that it received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award in this year's Excellent Local Government Evaluation in the Basic Livelihood Security sector hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The Excellent Local Government Award in the Basic Livelihood Security sector selects outstanding local governments based on a comprehensive evaluation including joint local government assessments, system operation, and work cooperation.
Boseong-gun received high evaluations for discovering new beneficiaries following the abolition of the support obligation for basic livelihood security, protection decisions through the local livelihood security committee, and emergency welfare support to eliminate blind spots of poverty.
A Boseong-gun official stated, "We will continue to make every effort to actively promote the Basic Livelihood Security System and discover new beneficiaries to create a happy welfare Boseong."
