Busan City to Foster Next-Generation Cloud Engineering Experts... Specialized Course to Open in February Next Year
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan City is recruiting candidates for the cloud field expert training program, the ‘DevOps Bootcamp’.
The ‘DevOps Bootcamp’ is a project operated by Busan City after being selected for the K-Digital Training project organized by the Busan Human Resources Development Committee, Code Stake, and the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The training will be conducted over 17 weeks from February 7 to June 14 next year.
The name ‘DevOps Bootcamp’ is derived from the methodology ‘DevOps,’ a compound of software Development and Operations, which provides cloud services quickly and stably while enhancing organizational capabilities.
The training is an information and communication technology practical course designed to cultivate professional expertise in a short period.
Upon completion of the DevOps Bootcamp course, participants will acquire expertise equivalent to junior DevOps engineers with 1 to 2 years of experience, enabling immediate deployment in the field.
In the final stage of the training, comprehensive career consulting including personal competency modeling, resume writing, mock interviews, and salary negotiations will be conducted.
Graduates will continue to be supported with opportunities for employment connections with partner companies.
The training is provided free of charge for graduating students and job seekers and is conducted in a practical, customized manner through a combination of online and offline sessions.
The application deadline is January 18, 2022, and applications can be submitted via the Code Stake website, Busan Youth Platform, or Busan Job Information Network.
