KPGA Family Golf Challenge "Who is the Best Amateur Golf Family?"
Held on the 29th at Chungju Evendale Golf Course, 72 teams of 2 players each to compete, using Four-ball and Stableford formats

The Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) will hold the '2021 KPGA Family Golf Challenge' on the 29th at Evendale Golf Course in Chungju, Chungbuk. This event is organized to bring together family members of various ages and types to reflect on the true meaning of family through golf, a wholesome family-oriented lifestyle sport, and to contribute to the popularization of golf. Since its debut in 2016 targeting pure amateur golfers, this is the 6th edition this year.
The event is hosted by KPGA and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation. Teams consist of two players regardless of gender. The format is an 18-hole foursome where players alternate shots. A total of 144 participants (72 teams) compete. Scores are calculated using the Stableford system to determine the winner and runner-up. There are also special awards such as Team Nearest, Team Longest, Team Medalist, and Lucky Prize. Various souvenirs are provided to participants.

Applications can be made by downloading the application form from the tournament website, filling it out, and submitting a family relationship certificate via email. To comply with COVID-19 prevention guidelines, all participants must submit a vaccination certificate including the second dose. Unvaccinated participants must provide a negative PCR test result within 48 hours before the tournament. The application period ends on the 27th and registration closes on a first-come, first-served basis. More details are available on the website.
