According to the city on the 23rd, this evaluation was prepared by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to assess the performance and policy contribution of the cadastral resurvey project, share excellent cases with local governments nationwide, and promote system improvements.
The evaluation covered all aspects of the cadastral resurvey project and global geodetic system conversion project promotion, special policies, excellent cases, and policy contributions targeting 220 basic local governments nationwide.
This year, the city recorded outstanding achievements in various fields such as dividing shared land owned in fractional form due to inability to subdivide land, collaboration with urban regeneration New Deal projects, project performance, and strategic project participation contribution, earning the honor of being selected as the best institution.
In particular, starting with Jinheung 1 District in 2012, the project was completed for 18 districts and 13,457 parcels, resolving blind spots, regularizing land shapes, adjusting unreasonable boundaries, and addressing building infringements.
Next year, the city plans to promote the cadastral resurvey project for 3,980 parcels in Suseong 2 and 4 Districts, Jangmyeong District, and Geumbung 1, 2, and 3 Districts by investing about 900 million won in national funds.
Mayor Yoo Jin-seop said, “The cadastral resurvey project contributes to resolving disputes among residents by correcting mismatched land boundaries,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to increase land utilization and protect citizens’ property rights.”
Meanwhile, the cadastral resurvey project is a national project that aligns land status with cadastral map boundaries using state-of-the-art surveying methods and converts them into digital cadastral maps.
It is promoted to efficiently manage the national land and protect citizens’ property rights.
