Shinhan Bank delivered Christmas gifts and snacks to 500 children at 16 childcare facilities and local children's centers in the Seoul area, and in January, to welcome the New Year, it will also provide exclusive coupons so that children can order and enjoy their favorite food anytime on special days through Shinhan Bank's delivery application 'Ttaenggyeoyo'.
The delivery ceremony was held non-face-to-face to prevent the spread of COVID-19, with the participation of Shinhan Bank CEO Jin Ok-dong and Green Umbrella Children's Foundation Chairman Lee Je-hoon.
This support started from CEO Jin's personal desire to provide delicious snacks and food to our children through the delivery app Ttaenggyeoyo, which began its pilot operation on the 22nd, as he has consistently practiced personal donations for children and youth in difficult environments.
In particular, through the Companion Project, Shinhan Bank's representative social contribution activity launched this year, various support projects for vulnerable children are being steadily carried out, including providing vehicles and fuel expenses to shelters for abused children, meal box support for children facing food insecurity during school vacations and Chuseok holidays, and Korean language education and psychological therapy support for children from multicultural families in the Ansan area.
