Dong-A Pharmaceutical Donates Protective Masks to Army Training Center for Military Personnel
[Asia Economy Reporter Seo So-jeong] Dong-A Pharmaceutical (CEO Choi Ho-jin) announced on the 22nd that it recently donated protective masks to the Army Training Center in Nonsan, Chungnam, for military personnel.
The Army Training Center in Nonsan, Chungnam, is the largest recruit training institution in Korea, training 120,000 new soldiers annually. Due to the nature of group living in the training center, infection prevention activities are especially important as infectious disease outbreaks can lead to mass infections.
The protective supplies donated by Dong-A Pharmaceutical include approximately 500,000 units of the 'The Sunon Yellow Dust Protective Mask KF94' and others.
Since 2016, Dong-A Pharmaceutical has signed a one-company-one-barracks business agreement with the Army Training Center and has been sponsoring the fatigue recovery drink Bacchus monthly to encourage the soldiers.
A Dong-A Pharmaceutical official said, "We deeply appreciate the efforts of the military personnel fulfilling their national defense duties even amid the COVID-19 situation and wish for their health and safety. We will continue to carry out donations and social contribution activities wherever help is needed in our society."
