Gyeongbok University Early Childhood Education Center, Awarded 'A Grade' for Three Consecutive Years as a Continuing Education Institution
[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeongbok University Early Childhood Education Center has received an A grade for three consecutive years in the comprehensive evaluation of group in-service training institutions.
Gyeongbok University Early Childhood Education Center announced on the 22nd that it received an A grade in the '2021 Comprehensive Evaluation of Group In-Service Training Institutions' recently announced by the Korea Childcare Promotion Institute, earning the highest education institution certification for three consecutive years since 2018.
In-service training for childcare staff is a comprehensive childcare-related in-service training that includes promotion training for current daycare teachers and director training.
Park Mi-kyung, director of Gyeongbok University Early Childhood Education Center and head of the Department of Child Counseling and Childcare, said, "Based on our experience operating high-quality professional education programs using a blended learning method of online and offline, we were able to provide education suitable for the new normal era." She added, "Gyeongbok University receiving an A grade for three consecutive years in the comprehensive evaluation means that our professional education programs are widely provided to and recognized by current childcare staff in the local community."

Meanwhile, Gyeongbok University's Department of Child Counseling and Childcare has signed an employment-guaranteed agreement with Moa Mom Childcare Foundation, a management foundation for quality public and workplace daycare centers, and operates the country's first '100% Employment-Guaranteed Customized Childcare Teacher Training School.' Currently, it is entrusted with operating public daycare centers in Uijeongbu, Hanam, Namyangju, and Guri cities.
