Muan-gun Holds 2023 National and Provincial Funding Proposal Project Discovery Meeting

According to the county on the 22nd, the briefing session reviewed the progress and future plans of 38 newly discovered projects tailored to the government's policy directions and the characteristics of Muan County for its future development.
Additionally, since a total budget of 254.5 billion KRW is expected to be required for these projects, discussions were held to establish a systematic budget securing strategy linked with national and provincial policy projects.
Muan County plans to hold a second briefing session in January next year to additionally discover key projects essential for county development and to strengthen communication and cooperation systems with Jeollanam-do, central government ministries, and the National Assembly, making all-out efforts to secure government budgets step by step.
County Governor Kim San requested the offices, divisions, departments, and sections to actively discover additional projects related to economic recovery, climate crisis response, sustainable development, and jobs, as well as life-oriented projects that residents can feel, and urged them to do their best from the initial stage to ensure that the proposed projects are reflected in the government budget.
