Woori Financial Group Launches '2021 Woori Hope Santa' Campaign
Woori Financial Group held the "Better Together, WOORI Hope Santa" campaign on the 21st at the Woori Financial Group headquarters, with Sohn Tae-seung (center in the photo), Chairman of Woori Financial Group, in attendance. The 'Better Together, Our Hope Santa' campaign is a social contribution activity that has been conducted annually at the end of the year since 2019, where Woori Financial Group executives and employees become Hope Santas to deliver Christmas gifts and messages of hope to children, including those in child welfare facilities.
The campaign event was held the previous day at Woori Financial Group's headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, attended by Chairman Sohn Tae-seung. Chairman Sohn personally dressed as Santa Claus and, together with the employees, held a 'Our Hope Box' delivery ceremony. The 'Our Hope Box' consists of essential items such as school supplies for children, masks, and hand sanitizers, and will be provided to 1,500 children at about 60 child welfare institutions.
