KFC Launches Exclusive Beer 'Chit' in Collaboration with Kabrew
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] KFC has officially launched its new craft beer to aggressively target the chicken and beer market.
On the 21st, KFC announced that it released the KFC-exclusive beer ‘?’ nationwide in collaboration with the craft beer specialist company Kabrew. It is available only at KFC stores that sell beer.
As a ‘KFC-exclusive beer’ that pairs best with KFC’s chicken, the strategy is to broaden the customer base to include not only existing customers but also the MZ generation and gourmets seeking unique experiences.
‘?’ is an onomatopoeia representing the refreshing and thrilling sound made when opening a canned beer.
It features a golden ale with a golden hue, enhanced with the citrusy freshness of added orange.
The packaging reflects KFC’s brand identity with a background pattern of chicken drumsticks and an image of Colonel Sanders, while the large and bold single character ‘?’ catches the eye.
