Gwangju University Supports 4th Round of Rent for On-Campus Tenants
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyuk-jong) has supported the rent of on-campus tenants for four consecutive semesters since the first semester of last year.
According to Gwangju University on the 21st, to coexist and share the pain with on-campus tenants who are struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, they are supporting 30% of the rent for three months.
The rent support targets 14 on-campus tenants, including photo studios and cafes.
Gwangju University plans to prepare further measures after observing the extension of non-face-to-face classes and economic recession caused by the resurgence of COVID-19.
President Kim Hyuk-jong said, "We will continue to find ways to share the pain with on-campus tenants in this long tunnel called COVID-19 and to achieve mutual development."
