In a post on his Facebook that day, Lee said, "Why on earth is Cho Su-jin, the public relations officer, unable to focus on PR duties and instead sending links from the 'Garo Sero Research Institute' (Gaseyeon), which worries about Lee Jun-seok's mental health, to multiple journalists?"
He pointed out, "Is the election committee's work so idle that she personally watches and sends such broadcasts? How absurd must it be to sit in the office without even leaving work and come across such stories?"
He continued, "How embarrassed must the journalists be to report this way? Moreover, how should we interpret apologizing in the morning and provoking in the evening?" He raised his voice in criticism, saying, "You should be working to promote the candidate's activities and respond to inappropriate allegations from opponents. What is this?"
Along with this, Lee shared a screenshot of a KakaoTalk message presumed to have been sent by Cho to an acquaintance. The photo shows Cho sharing a YouTube link titled 'Lee Jun-seok's Outburst for Absurd Reasons! Mental Health is a Concern! He Should Resign Even Now!' The video is posted on the YouTube channel 'Mokgyeokja K' (Witness K).
The video thumbnail features a photo combining the face of Lee with the body of a young child. This photo is presumed to have been initially distributed by Gaseyeon.

Earlier that day, during a closed election committee meeting, Lee and Cho reportedly exchanged heated words. When Lee suggested managing so-called 'Yun Hae-gwan' (core associates of Yoon Seok-yeol) articles properly, Cho reportedly retorted, "I will only listen to candidate Yoon Seok-yeol." Following this, Lee struck the table with his hand and left the meeting room, and the election committee meeting was immediately adjourned.

Later, Lee met with reporters and effectively acknowledged the clash with Cho. He expressed displeasure, saying, "There was someone within the election committee who resisted work instructions, so I spoke to correct it according to the committee's operational system. I gave instructions appropriate to her duties, but she said, 'I don't need to listen to the standing election committee chairman,' which escalated the tension." In response, Cho expressed an apology, stating, "I take full responsibility for all the current situations."
