Gwangyang City Receives Positive Evaluation with 95.3% Citizen Satisfaction in Using Health Institutions
Satisfaction Ratings: Kindness 95.7%, Integrity 99.6%, Convenience of Environment and Facilities 95.2%
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seonsik] On the 20th, Gwangyang City, Jeollanam-do announced that the satisfaction level of citizens using health institutions was found to be high in the recent 'Citizen Satisfaction Survey on Health Institution Usage.'
The satisfaction survey was conducted from November 22 to December 6 among 230 citizens who used health institutions to evaluate health projects and set development directions. Among the participants, 95.3% gave positive evaluations.
By evaluation category, kindness scored 95.7%, integrity 99.6%, resident-centered service provision 91.7%, convenience of environment and facility use 95.2%, and medical service satisfaction 94.4%.
In particular, the reasons for frequent use of health institutions were ▲ convenient transportation (126 people) ▲ low cost (93 people) ▲ friendly staff (68 people) △ use of medical treatment and health promotion room (50 people) ▲ trustworthiness (45 people), in that order.
Additionally, the health projects that Gwangyang City should focus on in the future were selected as ▲ medical treatment (94 people) ▲ hypertension and diabetes (63 people), followed by ▲ physical therapy (57 people) ▲ longevity gymnastics (52 people) ▲ cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (42 people) ▲ mental health and dementia (35 people) ▲ jjimjilbang and bathhouse (27 people) ▲ vaccination (20 people).
Park Jupil, head of the health center, said, “Despite the challenging environment due to COVID-19, we are grateful for the active cooperation of Gwangyang citizens regarding health policies,” and added, “We will thoroughly analyze the valuable opinions of citizens and do our best to create a ‘Happy Gwangyang City for Citizens’ through proactive administration that meets their needs.”
