"This Winter, the Warmest Hotel Vacation" Lotte Hotel Launches 'UNICEF Package'

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Hotel announced on the 20th that it will launch 'The Warmest Memory, UNICEF' package in collaboration with UNICEF to welcome the winter season. Various products are prepared for each Lotte Hotel chain, and reservations are available until February 28 next year. A UNICEF blanket is provided as a common benefit for all products.

Signiel Seoul offers a package for three people that includes a suite room and a kids' tent. Signiel Busan has prepared a package that allows guests to enjoy a room with a view of Mipo Port. Both hotels provide Signiel’s signature diffuser.

Lotte Hotel Seoul sells a package that includes a strawberry afternoon tea set (for two people) as a special benefit. Lotte Hotel World offers a minibar and welcome drink for free, and club lounge rooms are also available. Lotte Hotel Jeju is selling a package that includes breakfast and provides take-out coffee for guests staying multiple nights. Lotte Hotel Ulsan added an eco-friendly herbal tea set accompanied by postcards of Ulsan’s winter attractions.

Three L7 Hotels nationwide (Myeongdong, Gangnam, Hongdae) and six Lotte City Hotels (Mapo, Gimpo Airport, Jeju, Daejeon, Guro, Myeongdong) start by selling room-only products. Lotte City Hotel Ulsan offers a room-only product paired with an eco-friendly herbal tea set.

The UNICEF package is a product that allows guests to enjoy a year-end and New Year’s hotel stay while also making a donation. Since 2014, Lotte Hotel, which has been launching UNICEF packages every winter, donates a portion of the package sales proceeds to UNICEF’s 'Schools for Asia' campaign, an educational project for children in the Asian region.

A Lotte Hotel official said, "Lotte Hotel declared a new ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) vision this year and has been carrying out social contribution activities. Considering that over 400 million children in South Asia are estimated to be affected by school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this UNICEF package will be even more meaningful."
