Seoul Grand Park Scores 81.26 in Customer Satisfaction for Second Half of Year... Highest Ever
Improvement Over the Past 3 Years: 74.73 Points in 2019 → 75.34 Points in 2020 → 79.76 Points in 2021
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul Grand Park recorded the highest customer satisfaction score since its opening in the second half of 2021. In particular, the satisfaction score for the second half of this year was 81.26 points, marking the first time Seoul Grand Park scored in the 80s. The park received uniformly high scores across all areas including convenience, friendliness, and landscaping, making the result even more meaningful, Seoul Grand Park announced on the 20th.
Seoul Grand Park conducted a customer satisfaction survey for the second half of 2021 over four days starting October 21, targeting 573 visitors who visited the park this year. The survey was conducted through an external professional research agency. The results showed a score of 81.26 points, an increase of 4.42 points compared to last year and 2.99 points compared to the first half of this year. This is the highest score ever since the customer satisfaction survey began in 2014.
The satisfaction survey covered six areas: accessibility, convenience, facility management, safety, landscaping and scenery, and friendliness. Among these, the ‘landscaping and scenery’ category received the highest score of 84.73 points. Over the past three years, this category not only had the highest score compared to peak seasons but also showed the greatest increase. Following this were safety, accessibility, facility management, friendliness, and convenience in order of satisfaction.
Seoul Grand Park analyzed that the continuous rise in customer satisfaction over the past three years, especially the significant increase this year, is due to many attempts and changes in improving facilities and services beyond the limitations of a public institution. In particular, in 2021, Seoul Grand Park made many efforts to ensure visitor safety and convenience, including remodeling the zoo’s main gate, introducing a mobile app pre-payment parking system, and improving the exterior banner of the comprehensive information center.
Additionally, through the ‘Forest of Flowers Project’ started this year, Seoul Grand Park created beautiful themed gardens throughout the park, offering healing and enjoyment to citizens. This active change is analyzed as the main factor for the largest increase in the ‘landscaping and scenery’ category.
Seoul Grand Park plans to use the results of this satisfaction survey to address shortcomings and make various efforts to improve services so that citizens can enjoy Seoul Grand Park safely and happily in the future.
