Lotte Construction Supports Daily Necessities and Snacks for COVID-19 Dedicated Medical Staff
Lotte Construction announced that on the 15th, it held a donation plaque presentation ceremony for the COVID-19 medical staff support project at the Community Chest of Korea building in Jung-gu, Seoul. Lotte Construction announced on the 16th that it provided supplies to the Community Chest of Korea, also known as Sarangui Yeolmae, to support frontline medical staff struggling due to the continued spread of COVID-19, and held a donation plaque presentation ceremony at the Sarangui Yeolmae Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul to commemorate the event.
The Community Chest of Korea, established in 1988, is a leading private welfare organization that practices social welfare through joint fundraising campaigns symbolized by the "Sarangui Yeolmae" (Fruit of Love).
The donated supplies consisted of personal daily necessities and snacks, and were provided to medical staff and volunteers at five screening clinics in the Seoul area and three COVID-19 dedicated hospitals (Seoul Northern Hospital, Eastern Hospital, and Northwestern Hospital).

A Lotte Construction official stated, "With the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases following the transition to the 'With COVID' phase, the workload at dedicated COVID-19 hospitals and screening clinics has intensified. We wanted to express our gratitude to the medical staff for their hard work by providing these supplies." He added, "We will continue to take the lead in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management through various social contribution activities."
