[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] YJM Games announced on the 16th that its affiliate One Immers will officially release four highly anticipated metaverse VR titles?‘Dessert Slice,’ ‘My Town: Zombie,’ ‘Diet Smash,’ and ‘Hello My Town’?as exclusive games for Oculus Quest 2 in the first quarter of next year.
‘Dessert Slice,’ a popular VR game developed by One Immers, is a slice action game set in a dessert shop. Players score points by slicing as many desserts like donuts and candies as possible within a limited time while avoiding flying bombs. Precise slicing targeting the center of the dessert or successful consecutive slices yield high scores.
My Town: Zombie is a survival game where players must survive for a long time against zombies attacking from all directions. It supports single-player mode. Players can acquire weapons such as pistols, submachine guns, shotguns, and grenade launchers scattered throughout the eerie subway to defeat zombies and survive as long as possible.
Diet Smash is set in an indoor badminton court within the My Town universe. It offers two modes: ‘Hit Away’ mode, where players hit flying shuttlecocks while avoiding bombs, and ‘Bounce’ mode, where players must keep bouncing the shuttlecock with a racket for as long as possible in a confined space without letting it fall to the ground.
Hello My Town is a VR game where players use bows, shurikens, water droplet toy guns, and other items to chase away ‘ghosts’ that invade the house and cause disturbances. Besides ghost hunting, it offers various fun experiences such as freely picking up, throwing, and hitting household objects like drums, xylophones, baseball bats, and bowling balls.
A YJM Games representative stated, “Starting with these four games, we plan to quickly support various games on Oculus Quest 2 as well as Cambria, which is scheduled to launch on Meta next year. We will introduce highly polished, self-developed metaverse VR games on diverse global platforms.”
