GS The Fresh's Alcohol Pickup Service 'Popular'... Surpasses 9,000 Orders in Half a Month

According to GS The Fresh on the 16th, the number of pickups recorded approximately 9,000 cases from the 1st to the 15th. During the same period, sales in the wine, whiskey, and hard liquor categories increased by 43.4% compared to the previous month, including sales from the pickup service.
The most ordered product through the pickup service was the premium wine ‘Number 3 Eroica.’ This wine is well-known as a collaboration between GS Retail and the famous French winery Ch?teau Balandreau. Following that, the 'Campari Home Tending Kit 2021' was also a top seller. This product includes four types of cocktail liquors, including Italy’s famous liqueur Campari, and six types of home tending tools.

A GS Retail official stated, “The strength of the alcohol pickup service lies in the ability to shop for special liquors that are hard to find even in specialty stores, along with fresh meat and fruits, all in one stop,” adding, “Order volume is increasing mainly among alcohol enthusiasts living in rural areas, so we plan to further strengthen in-store promotions.”
