GM Hanmaeum Foundation Korea Holds 'Love Donation Ceremony' for Vulnerable Groups
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] GM Hanmaeum Foundation Korea announced on the 16th that it held a 'Love Donation Ceremony' at the GM Korea Bupyeong headquarters, delivering employees' donations and goods to social welfare organizations in Incheon.
GM Hanmaeum Foundation Korea explained that GM employees voluntarily prepared donations and goods to support a warm winter for vulnerable groups. These were mainly raised through an online auction event held during Diversity Week at the GM Korea plant, which took place over a week starting from the 6th.
Additionally, various departments within the company, including Purchasing, Finance, and the Research Institute, conducted donation fundraising events and goods donation activities to mark the end of the year.
The employee donations and donated goods delivered this time will be sent along with messages of love from GM Korea employees to about 10 social welfare organizations in the Incheon area.
