View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Park Jun-ho, a member of the Gyeongnam Provincial Council (Gimhae 7, Democratic Party of Korea), received the 11th Excellent Legislative Award at the 2021 Gyeongnam Provincial Council closing ceremony held on the 14th.
The 'Excellent Legislative Award' from the Korea Association of City and Provincial Council Chairs is given to metropolitan council members who have contributed to improving residents' quality of life and the development of local councils through legislative activities over the course of a year.
Councilor Park Jun-ho served as the chairman of the Economic and Environmental Committee in the latter half of the 11th term, president of the Gyeongsangnam-do Green Gyeongnam Research Association, and chairman of the Gyeongsangnam-do Regional Children's Center Committee.
He is recognized for his role in checking and monitoring the executive branch through sharp inquiries in the council.
Councilor Park was acknowledged for his legislative activities leading efforts to resolve local issues, including showing interest in small business owners and self-employed individuals suffering from COVID-19 and proposing reasonable policy directions.
Over the past three years and six months, he has taken the lead in proposing 33 ordinances as the main sponsor, including the Gyeongsangnam-do Ordinance on the Protection of Emotional Laborers' Rights and the Gyeongsangnam-do Ordinance on Support for Small Business Owners, achieving the highest number of ordinance proposals since the opening of the Gyeongnam Provincial Council.
