GNC Energy, 9 Consecutive Years of Cash Dividends... "Enhancing Shareholder Value"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] GNC Energy announced on the 15th that it will pay a cash dividend of 50 KRW per share.
As the number one domestic emergency generator company and a specialist in eco-friendly and renewable energy, GNC Energy has conducted cash dividends for nine consecutive years since its listing in 2013. The dividend amount remains the same as last year, totaling approximately 800 million KRW, with the dividend record date set for the 31st of this month.
A GNC Energy representative stated, “Our company has never missed a dividend payment since going public, and although this year has been challenging, we are conducting a cash dividend to enhance shareholder value. We plan to continue implementing various policies to share our corporate value and improve shareholder value.”
Meanwhile, GNC Energy is strengthening its capabilities in eco-friendly and renewable energy businesses such as small-scale combined heat and power generation and biogas power generation, in line with the expansion of the eco-friendly energy market. Currently, it operates nine biogas power plants nationwide through private investment. The 'sewage treatment business,' which took its first step last year by being selected for the 'sewage treatment plant sludge reduction project' in Gyeongju City, Gyeongbuk Province, is also experiencing continuous growth.

The emergency generator business area is also expanding. With the growth of the Korean data center market, the company expects structural sales growth of emergency generators for IDC use. This is because GNC Energy holds more than 70% market share in the emergency generator IT sector, including IDC. GNC Energy’s emergency generators use a gas turbine method, which offers superior eco-friendly performance in terms of output, noise, and emissions compared to other companies’ diesel generators, leading to expectations of further increases in GNC Energy’s market share.
