40s Arrested in the Act for Throwing Brick at Landlord Saying "The TV Isn't Working"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 40s who threw a brick at his landlord, claiming the TV was not working, was arrested by the police.
Seoul Geumcheon Police Station announced on the 15th that they have booked Park (48) on charges of special assault and are investigating him.
According to the police, Park is suspected of threatening and assaulting the landlord by throwing a brick at him around 12:34 a.m. the previous day near Gasan Digital Complex Station in a multi-family house.
Park reportedly became angry because the TV was not working and threw the TV monitor outside from the second floor of the multi-family house where he lived. When the landlord protested, he committed the assault.
Fortunately, the landlord avoided the flying brick and was not injured.
The police, who responded to the report, arrested Park in the act, and during the investigation, Park admitted to most of the charges.

A police official stated, "We are accurately determining the details of the incident based on the statements of the suspect and the victim."
