Gyeonggi Office of Education Announces 2,723 First-Round Successful Candidates for Kindergarten, Elementary, and Special Education Teachers
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education announced the first-round successful candidates for kindergarten, elementary, and special school teachers in the province for next year.
On the 15th, the Gyeonggi Office of Education stated that the results and scores of the first-round exam will be disclosed through the NEIS (National Education Information System) online recruitment platform for teachers by January 14 next year.
The number of first-round successful candidates by category is ▲Kindergarten teachers: 151 (108 to be selected) ▲Elementary school teachers: 2,102 (1,493 to be selected) ▲Special (kindergarten) teachers: 180 (128 to be selected) ▲Special (elementary) teachers: 290 (205 to be selected), totaling 2,723.
In addition, the Gyeonggi Office of Education also announced the lists of 8 successful candidates for national special (elementary) school teachers and 5 for private special (elementary) school teachers.
The second-round exam (in-depth interview on teaching aptitude and teaching ability evaluation) will be held on January 12-13 next year. Following that, an English proficiency test will be conducted on the 14th.

The final list of successful candidates will be announced on the website on February 4 next year.
