Reducing Waiting and Travel Time, Eco-Friendly Delivery Using Reusable Containers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Startup Barogo announced on the 14th that it has launched the 'D2D (DOSI to Desk)' service within the Dosijubang Yeoksam branch and is starting ultra-short-distance delivery.
D2D is an ultra-short-distance delivery service provided to tenants of WeWork Yeoksam Station 2nd branch, where Dosijubang Yeoksam is located. The plan is to reduce meal waiting and travel time to enhance convenience for ordering customers.
To launch the D2D service, Barogo built a 'WeWork Corporate Customer Exclusive Order Service' feature on the mobile delivery order channel, which combines PAYCO order and meal ticket systems. Any tenant of WeWork Yeoksam Station 2nd branch can use the D2D service and pickup.
When using the D2D service, customers can receive food on their desired floor within WeWork Yeoksam Station 2nd branch, and ultra-short-distance delivery is handled by Dosijubang-affiliated 'Runners.'
Dosijubang Yeoksam plans to provide reusable containers to D2D service users. To this end, it collaborates with 'Itgreen,' which operates the eco-friendly reusable container service 'Returnit.' Customers can greatly reduce the hassle caused by food waste and disposable product disposal.
Dosijubang Yeoksam is holding a D2D service launch event until the 15th. During the event period, visitors to the 1st-floor lounge of WeWork Yeoksam Station 2nd branch can receive service usage guidance from Dosijubang staff. Visitors will be given a small gift.

Hwang Young-guk, team leader of Dosijubang at Barogo, said, "We planned the service to enhance user convenience and provide a differentiated delivery experience," adding, "We plan to expand the D2D service to about 1,000 corporate customers across 12 WeWork branches near Dosijubang Yeoksam."
