U+ Idleunara Launches Disney English Education Content 'Disney Learning'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Cho] The synergy of Disney Plus (+), which has signed an exclusive IPTV partnership with LG Uplus, is being further strengthened.
On the 14th, LG Uplus announced that it will introduce Disney's premium English education content, "Disney Learning," on "U+ Idleunara," the first IPTV platform dedicated to infants and toddlers. Customers can access over 270 pieces of content free of charge.
"Disney Learning" is English educational content created based on popular Disney characters such as Frozen, Toy Story, and Mickey Mouse. It consists of ▲ a VOD service with 272 videos ▲ a dedicated board where touching Disney characters with the U+ Idleunara exclusive remote control "Uppi Pen" plays related VODs.
In January next year, ▲ "Song Videos," where children can watch Disney animation videos by theme and sing English songs together, will be released. ▲ "Book Videos," which implement Disney animations as book videos, and ▲ "Educational Videos," which teach basic English and concepts (colors, shapes, numbers) easily and enjoyably with Disney videos, will also be updated quarterly.
In particular, the company expects that customers who use the global online video service (OTT) Disney+ together will be able to increase children's interest by linking content and educational videos featuring the same Disney characters.
