40s Man Arrested for Killing Father During Money Dispute
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] A man in his 40s who killed his father with a weapon after an argument has been arrested by the police.
According to the police on the 10th, the Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul has arrested and is investigating a man identified as A (41) on charges of parricide.
A is accused of stabbing his father B (69) multiple times with a weapon during an argument over money at B's residence in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, around 2:40 a.m. that day.
After the crime, A called 112 himself to surrender and was caught at the scene by the responding police officers. A, who lived in a rural area, reportedly came to Seoul to discuss family matters with his father. It is also known that a male acquaintance living with the father was present at the residence at the time of the crime.
