Gwangju Dong-gu, Comprehensive Integrity Level 2... 3 Consecutive Years of 'Great Achievement'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Dong-gu, Gwangju (Mayor Im Taek) announced on the 9th that it received a comprehensive integrity rating of Grade 2 in the '2021 Public Institution Integrity Evaluation' announced by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, and was selected as an 'Excellent Institution for 3 Consecutive Years.'
Since the launch of the 7th local government, Dong-gu has established a strong sense of mission regarding integrity among all public officials, including the mayor, and has been implementing comprehensive measures to improve integrity and establish an anti-corruption and integrity culture.
It is also evaluated that Dong-gu has made continuous efforts to achieve a level of integrity that satisfies residents by promptly receiving and handling complaints and directly monitoring the integrity of all public officials.

Mayor Im Taek of Dong-gu said, "We have achieved a meaningful result of receiving a Grade 2 integrity rating for three consecutive years through the active participation and self-reflection of all public officials," and added, "We will continue to do our best to implement integrity administration with excessively strict standards and criteria among all public officials."
