Sajo Daelim to Fully Enter Next Year's Seafood Ready-to-Eat Market with '24/7' Initiative
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Sajo Daerim is making a full-scale entry into the seafood home meal replacement (HMR) market.
On the 9th, Sajo Daerim announced that it will newly launch seafood HMR products that allow consumers to easily and conveniently enjoy seafood dishes, which are difficult to prepare and cook, at home, and aggressively expand its product lineup to enlarge the market by next year.
With its entry into the seafood HMR market, Sajo Daerim plans to provide consumers with products that enable them to enjoy seafood dishes at a professional restaurant level conveniently at home, based on Sajo Group’s experience and technological expertise in seafood product manufacturing.
Sajo Daerim previously introduced the HMR brand 24/7 (Isachil). Isachil means “delicious time anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,” and in October, it launched four seafood meal kits (‘Savory Gonialtang’, ‘Hearty Assorted Seafood Soup’, ‘Spicy Ugeoji Kodari Stew’, and ‘Soy Sauce Ugeoji Kodari Stew’).
These products enhance umami flavor with broth made using ‘Sajo Tuna Extract,’ which holds the number one market share in tuna extract. Each product contains a special sauce, various vegetables, and fresh seafood to bring out the unique flavors of seafood. Additionally, the seafood is kept frozen to maintain freshness, allowing consumers to enjoy fresh seafood dishes with confidence.
Sajo Daerim plans to introduce various types of seafood HMR products next year to increase consumer convenience and expand choices, accelerating market growth.
