Filling Lunchboxes with Love... Korea National Oil Corporation Delivers Side Dish Packages to Underprivileged Neighbors

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Korea National Oil Corporation delivered 200 side dish packages purchased from Ulsan Taehwa Market to socially isolated neighbors, including elderly living alone.
The sharing event was held to support small business owners in Taehwa Market struggling due to COVID-19 and to assist local farms and elderly living alone in Jung-gu.
The side dish packages, produced in collaboration with the Taehwa Market Merchants Association, were composed of various types considering the preferences of the elderly, including kimchi, salted seafood, perilla leaves, stir-fried anchovies, and seasoned seaweed.
The sharing event was attended by Park Tae-wan, Mayor of Jung-gu, Lee Won-kyung, Fundraising Team Leader of Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, and Park Moon-jum, President of Taehwa Market Merchants Association, who participated in box packing work.
A Korea National Oil Corporation official said, “We will make further efforts to spread the culture of sharing.”
