Teenagers Pretending to Be Guests Steal Computer Graphics Cards from Motels and Sell Them Used

On the 8th, the Dongbu Police Station in Gwangju announced that they had applied for an arrest warrant for A (16) on charges of special theft for stealing computer graphics cards from a lodging facility.
B (18), who sold the graphics cards stolen by A as secondhand items, was booked without detention.
A is accused of stealing eight graphics cards worth approximately 9.5 million won from four lodging facilities located in Dong-gu and Nam-gu, Gwangju, between the 1st and 6th of this month. B sold four of the graphics cards stolen by A on an online secondhand marketplace.
They used tools prepared in advance to steal the graphics cards, and were caught by the police after the lodging facility owner discovered related posts while they were trying to sell the items on the online secondhand marketplace.
Investigations revealed that they committed the crimes to cover living expenses.
