Korea Association of Machinery Industry Promotion Appoints Yoon Gap-seok as New Full-time Vice Chairman
Former Director of Policy Planning at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and President of the Korea Conformity Laboratories
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Machinery Industry Promotion Association (Chairman Son Dong-yeon) held its 189th board meeting on the 8th and announced the appointment of Yoon Gap-seok, former president of the Korea Construction Living Environment Testing Institute, as the new vice chairman. The newly appointed Vice Chairman Yoon will concurrently serve as the executive director of the Capital Goods Mutual Aid Association.
Vice Chairman Yoon Gap-seok graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Business Administration and passed the 32nd Administrative Examination. He began his public service career in 1990 at the Ministry of Construction and served as Director of Industrial Technology Policy at the Ministry of Knowledge Economy (now the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy), Minister-Counselor and Consul General at the Embassy of Italy, and Trade Policy Officer and Policy Planning Officer at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

Since 2018, he has served as the 4th president of the Korea Construction Living Environment Testing Institute, leading corporate technology support and pioneering overseas testing and certification markets.
