Samgi "Samgi EV, Awarded the 50 Million Dollar Export Tower"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Samki announced on the 7th that its subsidiary Samki EV received the '50 Million Dollar Export Tower' award at the 58th Trade Day ceremony hosted by the Korea International Trade Association. The Export Tower award is given to companies that have contributed to export growth based on export performance over one year from July 1 of the previous year to June 30 of the current year.
Samki EV, established on October 6, 2020, achieved the remarkable feat of receiving the 50 Million Dollar Export Tower award in just over nine months. Samki EV is a manufacturer of parts for electric vehicles, producing END-PLATEs that protect battery cells and constitute battery modules.
The product is supplied to numerous automobile manufacturers through LG Energy Solution. Amid the promising growth of the electric vehicle market, the company is also achieving high growth every quarter. In fact, cumulative sales for the third quarter reached 90.8 billion KRW. It is expected to exceed 100 billion KRW this year.
