Busan Office of Education Holds 'One-Stop Employment Support Council Meeting for Students with Disabilities'
Establishing a Collaborative System Among Related Fields for Career and Vocational Education and Employment Support for Students with Disabilities
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will hold the 'One-Stop Employment Support Council for Students with Disabilities' on the 9th.
The council consists of a total of 27 members: 13 committee members from 13 related organizations including Busan City, Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, Busan Disabled Welfare Center Association, and Kosin University; 13 business managers; and 1 education office business manager. The council meets twice a year.
The council was established to build a cooperative system among related organizations in fields such as education, welfare, and employment to support career and vocational education and employment for students with disabilities.
The council will guide key initiatives and seek mid- to long-term cooperation plans for employment support for students with disabilities.
At the first half council meeting held in July, the 2021 operation plan for the One-Stop Employment Support Council for Students with Disabilities and examples of cooperative project program operations by operating organizations were shared.
