The Incheon Western Police Station announced on the 6th that they have booked A (42) without detention on assault charges.
A is accused of assaulting B (9) inside a city bus passing a bus stop in Gajwa-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon, at around 8:34 a.m. on the 2nd.
After receiving a report from B's parents, the police reviewed nearby closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and conducted an inquiry, leading to A's arrest on the morning of the following day, the 3rd.

During the police investigation, A reportedly stated, "There were many people on the bus, so I told B not to board, but she did not listen, so I hit her."
