Shinhan Financial Investment is implementing customer-centric retirement pension services to grow retirement assets. First, the company has completely waived fees for IRP mobile accounts and continues to provide PB consultation services for customer asset management. Currently, among IRP mobile account fee waiver providers, Shinhan Financial Investment is the only one offering PB consultations. Additionally, to practice ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) responsible management, the company offers approximately a 50% fee reduction on retirement pension DB and DC plans for small businesses and facilities serving vulnerable groups. The scope of fee discounts is the highest among retirement pension providers, aiming to encourage workplace retirement pension enrollment and contribute to securing retirement assets for employees.
Not only does it offer diverse services, but its returns are also outstanding. As a result of providing customer-focused services to improve customer returns, the non-guaranteed fund sector customer return rate was 15.29% as of the third quarter this year, ranking first among 14 securities firms. For example, the company recommended adjusting performance dividend products to customers holding cash assets or guided customers with low-yield public funds to recommended funds to enhance returns.
Recently, it has also been providing pension investment content tailored to customers’ perspectives. Based on social networking services (SNS), it offers various content such as card news, video content, and web seminars, delivering content based on customer experience in a timely manner to increase service satisfaction.

A Shinhan Financial Investment official stated, “By the end of this year, we plan to complete the development of an AI voice bot to strengthen customer management and improve customer returns by expanding customer management coverage for DC-type and IRP individual customers.” He added, “We will also enhance complementary functions across non-face-to-face channels so that customers can use our services conveniently and easily in any environment.”
