Haevichi Country Club Jeju formed a partnership with UNHCR early last year when the COVID-19 outbreak began and launched the 'Delight Golf Life Package' to raise donation funds, donating a portion of the proceeds. Following last year, the same package was offered again this year, and a portion of the sales proceeds from January to November was donated.
The donation will be used for protection activities for refugees worldwide, who are facing increased difficulties such as poverty, health issues, and shortages of quarantine supplies due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19.
Minsoo Kim, CEO of Haevichi Hotel & Resort, said, "As the unprecedented global COVID-19 situation continues into its second year, we have raised and delivered donations again this year to help refugees in the most vulnerable situations. We express our gratitude to the customers who participated in this good cause and will continue to seek activities that can assist vulnerable groups both domestically and internationally."
