Action Square Expands 'Anvil' to 58 Global Servers... "No.1 in Steam Korea Early Access Sales"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Action Square announced on the 6th that its global new multi-platform shooting action game ‘ANVIL’ has expanded its global servers to 58 due to a surge in users and is making steady progress by ranking first in sales in the Steam Korea region Early Access category.
On the 2nd, Action Square released ‘ANVIL’ on Steam (Early Access), Xbox console (Game Preview), and Xbox Game Pass.
‘ANVIL’ initially started with a total of 30 servers at launch, but due to explosive user influx, the number of servers was doubled to 58 within a day of the game’s release.
Additionally, immediately after the release of ‘ANVIL,’ global user feedback was quickly collected and balance and reward patches were implemented for smooth gameplay, including ▲ lowering the difficulty of the final boss Cherni ▲ increasing the effect of all 5-stack effects ▲ removing the relic sharing system ▲ improving the boundary wave effect ▲ removing mechanical monsters from time-limited mission planets.
‘ANVIL’ is a 3D top-down shooting action game that allows players to choose from various characters and supports real-time multiplayer. It differentiates itself from other games through a roguelike system. Players can cooperate with other users to progress through stages, and by applying a ‘cross-play’ system, real-time multiplayer between users on different platforms such as Steam and Xbox is also available.
