View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] At around 4:07 a.m. on the 5th, a fire broke out in the basement first floor of a detached house in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
According to the fire authorities, six residents evacuated due to the fire, and among them, Kim (65), who lived in the basement first floor, complained of chest pain and headache and was taken to the hospital.
The fire was completely extinguished at around 4:51 a.m., 47 minutes after the report was received.
The fire caused partial damage to household goods and the interior of the house, resulting in property damage estimated by the fire station at about 8.4 million KRW.

The fire authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire through a joint inspection with related agencies.
