The Service selected 19 claim consultation volunteers as outstanding volunteers, awarding certificates of commendation to 4 and plaques of appreciation to 15.
The volunteers were appointed to support the smooth processing of long-term care benefit claims at long-term care institutions.
The long-term care institution claim consultation volunteer system is a program that provides consultation support to other institutions experiencing difficulties with claim tasks.
Volunteers are selected from long-term care institution workers who possess knowledge and experience related to claim tasks and have a strong spirit of volunteerism.
The system has been in operation for 10 years since 2012.
Volunteers shared tips related to claim tasks and helped resolve the Service’s telephone civil complaints.
