Gwangju University Conducts Job Experience Program for Youth

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyuk-jong), which operates the Nam-gu Youth Counseling Welfare Center on consignment, announced on the 3rd that it recently conducted the 'Let's Grab a Dream (job)! Youth Career Camp' for local youth at the Hosim Memorial Library and other locations.
About 20 participants, including at-risk youth, middle and high school students, mentors, and practitioners, took part in this career camp. The program included online career assessments, career lectures, visits to the Hosim Dr. Kim In-gon Memorial Hall, and explorations of departments such as the Department of Sports Science.
Im Hyung-taek, director of the Nam-gu Youth Counseling Welfare Center and professor of Youth Counseling and Lifelong Education at Gwangju University, said, "This program likely helped youth in the Nam-gu area explore and decide on their career paths," adding, "We plan to conduct follow-up management such as career clubs and mentoring activities in the future."
