"30s Given Probation for Abusing Kitten, Saying 'The Crying Is Noisy'"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Ju Cheol-in] Judge An Jwajin of the Changwon District Court Criminal Division 4 announced on the 2nd that he sentenced A (30), who was prosecuted on charges of abusing three kittens (violation of the Animal Protection Act) for complaining that the crying sound was noisy, to six months in prison with a two-year probation.
On June 18 last year, A caught three kittens near a factory in Changwon-si, Gyeongnam, and brought them to his home.
He then abused them by hanging them by the neck with a rope, cutting their whiskers with scissors, and hanging them on the wall with hangers, among other acts.
He also filmed videos of lowering the kittens before they fainted from distress.
