QM6, Establishing Itself as Renault Samsung's Steady Seller
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Renault Samsung Motors announced on the 2nd that it held the 'QM6 200,000th Delivery Customer Commemoration Ceremony' at the Bundang Original Branch in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province on the 1st.
The ceremony was held with Kim Soo-kyung (female, in her 40s), who purchased the QM6 in mid-last month and was selected as the protagonist of the 200,000th delivery customer commemoration ceremony, along with her family. Renault Samsung presented Ms. Kim with a 200,000 km warranty extension exchange voucher as a token of customer appreciation.
Ms. Kim said, "While driving my previous SM5, I was highly satisfied not only with the quality and quietness of Renault Samsung vehicles but also with the after-sales service (AS)." She added, "As a nurse, my dependence on the vehicle increased for commuting and weekend family outings, so I wanted a reliable and comfortable car without minor defects."
In addition, Renault Samsung gave prizes to four customers who were close to becoming the 200,000th customer. The 199,999th and 200,001st customers received a 'Galaxy Z Flip3,' while the 199,998th and 200,002nd customers were given the multi-kitchen appliance 'Bespoke Cooker.'
Meanwhile, the QM6, a mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV), has established itself as a steady seller for Renault Samsung, surpassing 200,000 units sold since its launch in 2016. In particular, the QM6 LPe, the only LPG SUV in Korea, achieved sales of 60,000 units within two years of its release.
