The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted on the 1st that morning temperatures on the 2nd will fall by 2 to 5 degrees compared to the previous day (-4 to 6 degrees), and strong winds will make the perceived temperature even colder.
The morning low on the 2nd will range from -10 to 3 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high will be between 5 and 11 degrees Celsius.
Morning lows by city/province are Seoul -4°C, Incheon -3°C, Suwon -4°C, Chuncheon -7°C, Gangneung -1°C, Daejeon -4°C, Sejong -4°C, Jeonju -2°C, Gwangju -1°C, Daegu -3°C, Ulsan -2°C, Busan -1°C, and Jeju 7°C.
Clouds will be widespread nationwide, but the East Coast will be clear.
In the afternoon, some areas in northern Gyeonggi and northwestern Gangwon will see light rain or snow, and from night, southern Chungnam and Jeonbuk will experience some rain.
Additionally, in the afternoon, light raindrops or snowflakes may fall occasionally in Seoul, southern Gyeonggi, southwestern Gangwon, northern Jeonnam, and Jeju Island from afternoon through night.
Expected precipitation amounts are less than 5 mm in northern Gyeonggi, northwestern Gangwon, southern Chungnam, Jeonbuk, and the five western islands.
