[Photo] Korea Rail Network Authority Continues 'Love Kimchi Sharing' for 18 Years
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Rail Network Authority announced on the 1st that it held the '2021 Love Kimchi Sharing' event at its headquarters in Daejeon. The event was attended by 90 people, including officials from the Happy Senior Welfare Center in Dong-gu, Daejeon, and residents of Mochi Village in Yeongdong, Chungbuk (a sister village under the One Company One Village program), who made kimchi with 930 heads of napa cabbage to deliver to neighbors along the railway. The Rail Network Authority has been holding the kimchi sharing event continuously for 18 years since 2004. The kimchi made at the event is being packed into boxes to be delivered to neighbors.
