‘Donate 100 Won Each’ Hansot Launches 4 Types of Kimchi Budae Jjigae Set Meals
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Hansot announced on the 1st that it will launch four new menu items called ‘Kimchi Budae Jjigae Set Meal’ made with domestic kimchi and domestic pork ham.
The four types of Kimchi Budae Jjigae Set Meals are ‘Spicy Pork Kimchi Budae Jjigae Set Meal (8,500 KRW)’, ‘Pork Spam Kimchi Budae Jjigae Set Meal (8,500 KRW)’, ‘Big Chicken Mayo Kimchi Budae Jjigae Set Meal (7,400 KRW)’, and ‘Chicken Mayo Kimchi Budae Jjigae Set Meal (6,800 KRW)’.
The Kimchi Budae Jjigae features a rich beef bone broth with generous amounts of domestic kimchi and domestic pork ham, enhancing the unique deep flavor of budae jjigae broth. The plentiful ham combined with various ingredients and a spicy special seasoning sauce creates a deep umami taste. The single item price, which includes rice and a fried egg, is 5,800 KRW. It is a healthy menu that does not contain three food additives (D-sorbitol, aspartame, glucono delta-lactone), so customers can enjoy it with peace of mind.
Along with the new menu launch, Hansot will hold a charitable lunchbox donation event throughout this month. For every Kimchi Budae Jjigae Set Meal purchased, 100 KRW will be donated per lunchbox. The donations collected over the month will be used for support projects for children in vulnerable domestic households through the international relief and development NGO Save the Children.
