A Woman in Her 20s Urgently Arrested for Random Assault on the Street
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A woman in her 20s who committed a random assault on a stranger on the street was apprehended by the police.
The Geumcheon Police Station in Seoul announced on the 1st that they have applied for an arrest warrant for Ms. A, a woman in her 20s, on charges of special assault.
According to the police, Ms. A approached Ms. B, a woman in her 20s, on a street in Doksan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, around 6 p.m. on the 29th, hit her on the head, then threatened her by holding a weapon to her neck.
Police who responded to Ms. B's report confirmed Ms. A's appearance through closed-circuit television (CCTV) and arrested her after searching the surrounding area.
