Reducing Cargo Truck Congestion at Busan Port ... Busan Port Authority Extends Pilot Operation of Vehicle Entry and Exit Reservation System
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Port Authority (BPA) is extending the second pilot operation period of the Vehicle Booking System (VBS) for vehicle entry and exit reservations by one month.
BPA initially planned to conduct the second on-site test of VBS for only one month, but decided to extend the test period until the end of this year.
This is because additional data collection is necessary to verify the effectiveness of VBS and to identify system improvements.
During the remaining pilot operation period, BPA plans to promote various publicity activities and campaigns to maximize the number of participating vehicles.
Detailed information can be found on the Busan Port Authority Chain Portal website.
