Hanwha Aerospace received the certificates from the Korea Management Registrar (KMR), an accredited certification body, at a certification award ceremony held at the Hanwha Building in Janggyo-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul.
ISO 37301 is an international standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in April to evaluate whether compliance policies and compliance risk management meet global standards and are effectively implemented. ISO 37001, introduced in 2016, is an international standard designed to assess internal systems in the anti-corruption field, including prevention of bribery, kickbacks, and illicit payments.
Shin Hyun-woo, President of Hanwha Aerospace, stated, "We will strengthen activities to systematically carry out ESG management, including compliance and anti-corruption, which are key issues in global management recently, and to enhance sustainability."
Since 2011, Hanwha Aerospace has been managing compliance risks continuously through the introduction of a compliance system, dissemination of management’s commitment, employee training, and inspections.
