Damyang County Signs Business Agreement with Gwangju National University of Education and Damyang Office of Education
Institutions Join Hands for Basic Academic Skills Accountability Education Amid Prolonged COVID-19
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 29th, Damyang County in Jeonnam announced on the 30th that it signed a business agreement with Damyang Office of Education (Superintendent Lee Sook) and Gwangju National University of Education (President Choi Doseong) for basic academic responsibility education.
This agreement contains the content that each institution will cooperate to resolve the learning gap of local students and improve basic academic skills in a situation where normal school life has become difficult due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of remote classes.
Through the agreement, Damyang County will provide various administrative supports such as project funding for the ‘Gwangju National University of Education Pre-service Teacher Knowledge Mentoring Program’ to be promoted next year.
Gwangju National University of Education will be responsible for training and dispatching pre-service teachers, and Damyang Office of Education will connect pre-service teachers with local students and operate the program, actively working to resolve students’ learning deficits.
