Operation of Experience Booths on Sharing Day at Damyang Village School
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 27th, Damyang Office of Education announced on the 29th that it operated the 'Cheongjukgol Village Education Community Lively Stories' experience program at the lawn stadium of Songgang High School with students, parents, and local residents in attendance.
This program exhibited the contents and results of the Dreaming Village School and seven other village schools operating in Damyang over the past year, and operated experience booths where students and parents could participate in activities specific to each village school.
Various experience booths such as making hanji mobile ornaments, bamboo pencil cases, succulent flower pots, and trying new sports were operated, allowing students and parents, who had limited outdoor activities due to COVID-19, to enjoy running and singing happily on the green lawn and spend a joyful time.
Kim Miseon, the representative of Dreaming Village School, said, “The year spent with the students was truly happy, and it was a meaningful time to experience and observe the operations of other village schools. Seeing the children smiling happily, I will meet the children again next year with even richer programs.”
A student attending Chuwolsan Village School brightly smiled and said it was a very exciting and enjoyable day because, due to COVID-19, they could not participate in sports days or many experiential learning activities, but they were able to play excitedly and experience many activities at the lawn stadium.
